Violets in Bloom is delighted to announce the upcoming purchase of its wonderful retreat for bereaved parents and children ‘Violet Lodge’. Nestled in Snowdonia, Wales, the rustic log cabin will provide a lovely haven for mothers, fathers and children to help them to deal with their loss in peaceful surroundings, and to help them to connect with their loved ones. The area offers both privacy and the chance to relax or if you fancy it, nearby there is also plenty to do. Violet Lodge is fully equipped and you will even find some meditation and relaxation cds, details of lovely walks and pebble painting kits (see below).
We will not make a charge for our Lodge when booked through us, but we do ask that you consider making a small donation (to help us with the running costs)
Bookings of the Lodge can be made via email firstname.lastname@example.org or using the enquiry form below and must be via a referral from a professional that knows the bereaved parent or child.
Pebble painting kits
The Jewish tradition of leaving a pebble or stone on top of a tombstone signifies that someone has honoured the deceased person’s memory with a visit to the grave.
Today, this tradition has been adopted by many faiths and religions, who like to pay their own special and personal tribute to their loved ones. At Violet lodge we invite you to place a pebble in the garden to commemorate your loved one. Our kits will provide you with a chance to find a pebble and decorate it so you can leave a lovely tribute and add to our colourful display of pebbles at the lodge.

A Big Thanks to Our Fundraisers
We are able to offer Financial Support for bereaved parents through the many Fundraising activities.
We wouldn’t be in this position without the continued support of family and friends who give their time and energy to help raise money and awareness.
Over the years, we have been involved in everything from Fun Runs to Skydiving. All with the aim to raise as much money as possible to continue to help other who find themselves in the same situation.
To all those Super Hero’s out there, a big THANK YOU!
